PDFix was built on a simple belief: the most common PDF tasks — merging, compressing, converting, and watermarking — should be free, fast, and accessible to anyone with a browser. No subscriptions. No signups. No nonsense.

Our Mission

We built PDFix because we were tired of PDF tools that make you register, show you a dozen ads before letting you download, or charge $10/month for tools that take 5 seconds to use. PDFix is free, and we intend to keep the core tools free forever.

We monetize through non-intrusive advertising to cover server and infrastructure costs. That's the whole model — no upsells, no dark patterns.

Technology

PDFix is built with PHP and runs on a lightweight VPS. PDF processing is powered by Ghostscript and ImageMagick — reliable open-source tools trusted by millions. Files are processed server-side and deleted automatically via a cron job every 15 minutes.
